The 2026 FIFA World Cup Final is Argentina vs Spain, kicking off at 3.00am on Monday 20 July 2026 Singapore time at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. For anyone at or near IMM in Jurong East, the free screening map runs in two directions along the East-West Line, with the mall's own Jurong East interchange (EW24/NS1) sitting at the hinge. Head two stops west to Lakeside for the SAFRA Jurong clubhouse experience, or one stop east to Clementi for the ActiveSG carnival. Walk a little and there is a cluster of People's Association community clubs in the neighbourhood too.
Two stops west: SAFRA Jurong at Lakeside
SAFRA Jurong, at 333 Boon Lay Way, is the closest of the big free clubhouse screenings to IMM. It is a short walk from Lakeside MRT (EW26), two stops west of Jurong East on the East-West Line. The club is running its SAFRA Football Bonanza across the whole tournament, and the Final is on the schedule at the Level 1 Atrium, with giant LED screens, immersive sound and seating on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Bonanza is open to the public, not just members. Check in and you can pick up a mini goodie bag sponsored by Tiger Balm while stocks last. SAFRA members get more across the knockout rounds: a members-only Ultimate Fan Zone with a complimentary drink, and a Watch & Redeem draw on semi-final night (15 July) where members swap a wrist tag for a frozen CP Cube Meal after the 3.00am match, each member allowed up to two guests.
One stop east: ActiveSG Clementi's Swimming Pool Foyer
Go the other way and Clementi is a single stop east of Jurong East on the EWL (EW23). ActiveSG is screening the Final free at the Clementi Sport Centre, in the Swimming Pool Foyer. Clementi is officially ActiveSG's Central Zone venue; the West Zone pick is Choa Chu Kang, but from IMM, Clementi is the quicker ride.
The draw at Clementi is the Football Finals Watch Party Carnival, which runs 12 midnight to 7am on both 19 and 20 July across all five ActiveSG venues. Before kick-off there are interactive games, football challenges and complimentary refreshments, first-come first-served while stocks last. Registration is at go.gov.sg/fwp26. The same carnival also covers the third-place play-off, France vs England at 5.00am on Sunday 19 July.
Walkable community clubs around Jurong East
If you would rather not get on a train at 2am, several People's Association community clubs around IMM are screening the Final free and walk-in. Jurong Spring CC and Yuhua CC are showing the final four matches. Taman Jurong CC, nearer the Lakeside side, has Guess the Winner games and sports try-outs. Hong Kah North CC runs penalty shootouts and soccer-themed games, and Nanyang CC has a half-time lucky draw.
The standout for late-night comfort food is Ayer Rajah CC, which is setting up a Live Prata Station from midnight on 20 July alongside Foot Darts, a Crossbar Challenge and big inflatable footballs. Note that Ayer Rajah requires registration for entry into its main hall on the night of the Final, via go.gov.sg/fifa-ar.
The 3am Monday problem, and the outlet-mall pivot
The snag with this Final is the Monday morning. Kick-off is 3.00am, the MRT is shut, and the NightRider night buses only run on Friday, Saturday and eve-of-holiday nights, so there is no night bus on a Sunday night. Getting to a screening means driving, a taxi or PHV, or picking somewhere you can walk to. Getting home is easier: Monday's first trains start around 5.45am, and a regulation match ending near 5.00am leaves only a short wait, or none at all if it goes to extra time and penalties.
This is where IMM's outlet-mall identity is useful. The late-shopping and dinner options give you somewhere to eat and wait in the hours before a midnight carnival opens, rather than hanging around a void deck. Shop the outlet stores through the evening, eat at one of the Jurong East food spots, then make the short hop west to SAFRA Jurong or east to Clementi for the 12.00am carnival doors and the 3.00am kick-off. The fallback is the sofa: Mediacorp is airing the Final free-to-air on Channel 5 and mewatch, with no subscription needed for the Final itself.
