Customer Service is really bad. We recently bought toilet accessories and fittings. Somehow, the shower bracket provided was short. We went to IMM Hoe Kee to inquire about it. We were attended by a male staff member, and we asked about the short bracket. We even showed him the model in the showroom to explain that the bracket provided to us was short. He kept insisting that we just bend the shower head inwards to fit it with the shorter bracket. He even suggested that we look through Shopee to get the bracket. What kind of suggestion is that?! After that, he just informed us “bo bian” and left us hanging. He disengaged us and attended to another customer. Luckily enough, the female counter staff member was able to address our problem. One more thing I would like to reiterate, and I'm sure some other customers have the same sentiment as me: please advise your staff not to badmouth their customers using their language, as nowadays people like me understand the language.

Hoe Kee IMM truly needs to review the performance of some of its staff. Tommy, the world has evolved. Many non-Chinese customers actually understand Mandarin. I think it's poor behaviour for you to badmouth your customers to your colleagues (in front of the customers??). Maybe request not to be scheduled on a weekend if you're going to show your black face throughout your service to your customers? Tommy, I hope you can learn a thing or two from your elderly uncle colleague (couldn't catch his name). While clearly much older, this particular uncle was more respectful towards his customers (regardless of race) and was more cheerful to serve them. He tries his absolute best to recommend alternatives and explain to us the specifications of the products. Hoe Kee, reward the elderly uncle staff member with some recognition. He truly deserves it.

Very poor service by this short-haired, plump auntie. She talked like she was the queen. I don't feel like she suits this sales line. I wanted to buy, but I walked off. I went to Sim Siang Choon and bought there, as the staff were friendly. Last time, I was served by a young guy, and his service was very good. How Kee, please wake up.

I went to buy a shower set and was served by an elderly uncle. He is knowledgeable and provides good customer service. I bought a Grohe shower set and am waiting for installation this weekend.

The installation quality was poor. The installer didn't even bring a pen knife to level the plastic expansion pipe after hammering it in. Unlike the Song Cho installer, who sticks a plastic bag to collect the dust, the Hoe Kee installer didn't even bring tissue to collect the dust when drilling.

Bad customer experience. After ordering a shower head on a Friday, Hoe Kee staff advised me to collect on the following Tuesday. When I went down to collect on the following Saturday, they said the stock had not come in and asked me to wait for two more weekends instead. To make matters worse, after I requested a refund from an attending male staff member, another elderly male staff member had the cheek to take out the stock and said he could let me have it first as his customer had not made payment. It was a really distasteful experience.

I wouldn't even give it a single star. The lady boss at the counter was incredibly rude. It was the worst experience ever. I tried calling the showroom, but it was a futile attempt; no one answered after over two hours. I then went to the showroom in person, and I tried to inquire about getting something for HIP, but they were impatient. I'm a customer, not an employee. I don't know what to buy. You need to explain to us what to buy and guide us. If not, why don't I just buy online? I needed to go to the showroom to see the actual item and get some help. The staff were unhelpful, and the lady boss was rude and had a bad attitude. 👎 Don't go to Hoekee. I won't be returning.

The purchasing experience was acceptable, but the installation service was utterly disappointing. The workers arrived in a rush, carelessly removed the old toilet bowl, and left the area in a complete mess without bothering to clean up before installing the new one. To make matters worse, they handled the new toilet bowl with zero regard—dragging it across the floor, risking damage to our tiles. The workmanship was shockingly sloppy. The P-trap pipe was poorly connected (it failed and **popped off** at first try, spilling all the sludge), and industrial glue was applied haphazardly, like a **5-year-old** would have done it, leaving unsightly industrial glue handprints all over the new toilet bowl. We had to spend extra time and effort cleaning off the residue ourselves. For a $180 installation fee, this level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy is completely unacceptable and ridiculous.

Mr. Randy was very friendly and patient when answering our questions. He also gave us tips on how to maintain the products and was overall very easy to speak with. He's a good staff member to look for. 👍 Update: -3 stars for this shop. We ordered a rainshower set and arranged to have it delivered 5 MONTHS in advance. ONE day before delivery, the shop called to tell us there was no stock and that we would have to wait a few weeks to get it, which affects our renovation schedule. Poor and unprofessional service 👎, will not recommend them.
