My wife and I were browsing this shop at IMM for bathroom accessories for our new house. We were interested in purchasing some of the items, but the sales staff seemed uninterested in serving us. There weren't many customers in the shop, and we looked like we needed help. Even when we were near the counter, discussing what to get, all three staff members at the counter treated us as if we were invisible.
It's true, we could have gone to ask for assistance, but we were looking to purchase a lot of items and wanted opinions from the staff. However, they didn't seem interested. We're not sure if they are picky when it comes to serving customers, but when a potential customer comes to your shop, staff should at least have the decency to show some service to ensure a welcoming experience. We were left frustrated, and we decided to go to the shop next door and purchase our items there instead.

The lady in charge of the store was nice and helpful, but I've given this store one star due to a horrible experience with their plumber.
The plumber they engaged was horrible; the worst serviceman we have encountered. The plumber, named Ah Heng, came to our house to install the sink and kept the toilet door shut the entire time he was inside.
As consumers, we always check on and monitor the serviceman providing the service to ensure transparency. This plumber refused to open the door; whenever he saw us coming into the room, he would close the toilet door again.
We were not comfortable with him doing this as there was no transparency or accountability, and we instructed him to open the door. To this, he rudely retorted, “Your toilet got gold, ah?”
Absolutely horrible experience with this plumber. I highly recommend everyone avoid this plumber.

The staff here are ridiculously slow and not knowledgeable. I said I was looking for a homogeneous stainless steel kitchen sink, and the guy replied, "What's that? Never heard of it before." Honestly, all stainless steel is homogeneous after all. The company should hire staff who know better. A few doors down at Hoe Kee, and even Asia Excel, the staff knew exactly what we wanted.

Selling refurbished products – I never thought such a reputable brand would engage in such an unethical act! I bought this sink due to HDB upgrading. My 20+ years old sink only had a small hairline, but after 2 months, lines are all over the place, even on the edges. I don't think any consumer could create those lines within a few months. If they had a '0' or '-' rating, I'd surely give it. NEVER visit this scammer!!!! (The Italian bathroom tap is also poor quality!)

Shopping for a HIP renovation, I decided to buy here. They had a decent selection of bathroom and kitchen products, and prices were pretty much similar to other retailers.
Note that free delivery is only available for purchases of $800 or more. Additionally, they do not offer any discounts off the original price, a policy which I would have walked out over (though it wasn't my decision this time), as other retailers typically provide a discounted price.

It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional for a business to shut down early without any notice. If the store isn't going to honor its official hours, it should update the information to reflect reality.

Visited the IMM outlet to look for a replacement toilet seat cover. Initially, we were served by a ponytailed lady who gave us a very general explanation of the toilet seat covers we were looking at. As we hadn't armed ourselves with the measurements, only some photos, we were unsure whether the one we took a fancy to was the right one. Note: goods sold could not be returned. Later, we saw Tina and recalled her excellent service from our previous visit. Again, she didn't disappoint us with her product knowledge, which exceeded our expectations. She looked visibly sick but was still working. She is clearly an asset to SSC, and we hope the company will take good care of her. Five stars to her service—keep it up, Tina! 😉

Bought all the hardware for our house renovations from Sim Siang Choon @ IMM. A few years later, minor replacements were necessary, and we were attended to by the friendly staff. For example, we needed a compatible toilet seat that required special retainer bolts. More recently, an Italian kitchen tap (Paffoni), a great quality fixture with a flexible faucet, needed a nozzle replacement. This nozzle had an internal thread of a specific size that could not be bought elsewhere. As the part was not in stock, the staff even went to the extent of removing the specific part from a new set! As small debris from a broken internal nozzle can be accidentally ingested and cause serious internal injury, it was necessary to replace that piece or the entire faucet. The staff helped me rather than telling me to wait for the order to arrive from overseas! Great customer service.

He was candid in his sharing and managed to assess what we needed. Good use of our time.

As the sink was too heavy for me to load into my vehicle, one of the staff, a lady (I forgot to get her name), offered to help me carry and load it into my car. Look for Albert or Tina when visiting Sim Siang Choon. They are knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. If you are going to change your toilet bowl, the trick is to measure the big piping on the ceiling above the toilet bowl—from the wall to the middle of the pipe. Give them this measurement and choose your toilet bowl. I bought all the taps, heater, basin, and toilet bowl for replacement. They are very helpful. They are the best in the shop!
