Had a great experience working with Spacious Planners and Yue En as my ID during the renovation of a resale unit. I have met with several IDs before settling with Spacious Planners, since they were the only ID who explained my renovation plan in detail and were willing to take on the project, knowing everything needed to be done within two months. The ID also had good taste and was able to develop ideas that would match the existing color theme of the unit. The renovation process was also very carefree and painless, since the ID took care of more or less everything except for shopping. I was looking for an ID around IMM, happened to go into Spacious Planners, and was approached by ID Jeannie. She was very friendly and approachable; she gave a lot of advice and ideas. During the renovation, she was very proactive in sorting out any enquiries, feedback, and problems that occurred. She also updated us on the renovation progress. Our Interior Designer is Chia Chia. She's very helpful and friendly whenever we need her help. Our first favorite is the main hall bench due to the color combination used. My spouse and I have enjoyed sitting there while watching raindrops. Next is my cozy area in the master bedroom, where I can spend 'me time'. We adopted Chia Chia's constructive ideas in design.

Came across Spacious Planners as some neighbours from our estate have used them. As we were looking for reno ID and contractor for our new place while staying in Jurong with parents, we decided to walk in to their shop at IMM and were attended to by Kher Ren. Even though it was a random visit, Kher Ren was very nice to show us around, and we were impressed to find they even have a showroom behind the office! While the quote was not the cheapest (though still decent), we decided to go with Kher Ren as we felt she could understand and balance our wants for a practical yet elegant design, and, most importantly, a space-saving concept for our smaller new place. Unlike many stories we have heard with other reno contractors, our journey with Spacious Planners has been pretty smooth with no hiccups. The highlight for us was definitely the integrated and space-maximizing concept, from the dry kitchen to the fluted glass storage and the projector screen wall (instead of a TV, which is what we wanted). Otherwise, carpentry work was decent although not the best we have seen since this was our second home reno experience. In the end, all defects and rectification work was noted in detail and followed through by the team. Overall, Kher Ren was very patient with us throughout the entire process and always spent enough time with us to go through designs, materials, etc., although we didn't adopt every recommendation. And we never felt rushed in making decisions. The experience with Spacious Planners has been a pleasant one, and Kher Ren managed to make it a stress-free experience for us!

We consulted more than one ID, but we liked Chua Sze Leng of Spacious Planners (IMM) and her ideas more. It's a decision we're glad we made because we love what she's done with our home in Dakota Residences, and it was fun watching her blitz through the project efficiently and our dream home take shape so quickly, with so few hiccups. 'Spacious' is not a word one associates with the average Singapore home, yet that's precisely what we often think when we step into our apartment, so the company is well named. Working within a tight time frame, Sze Leng transformed our apartment into a light-filled, open, and tasteful home that always makes first-time visitors go 'Wow!' Needless to say, we have shared her contact with many family and friends who love her work. Her decades-long experience in the industry shows in the soundness of her decisions (all made in consultation with us at every point) and the practical advice she gives. She's extremely creative, carving functional spaces out of awkward, boxed-in corners, and wonderfully efficient in coordinating all the tradesmen and working within our condominium’s stringent rules about renovation. She's particular about workmanship, pointing out and correcting minor flaws that even we don't notice. Perhaps what we most like about Sze Leng is that she designed our home specifically for our lifestyle and needs, present and future. And overarching all of these is her pragmatism; she's obsessed with creating a home that doesn't just look good but functions well and is easy to maintain and clean. And even after the handover, Sze Leng's expertise and help is just a WhatsApp away. She responds immediately and fixes problems (even those that have nothing to do with the renovation) for us quickly. Knowing that help is close at hand gives us peace of mind.

We selected Vivi as our designer, even though their quote was not the cheapest we received. This was because Vivi went through her design ideas with us in greater detail than any other designer. She really gave our small apartment a lot of thought even before there was any prospect of getting paid. We did not regret it. The home turned out better than we expected. Our small apartment is functional and well-designed. Even delivery people who deliver items here comment on how nice it is the moment I open the door. The quality of the workmanship appears to be solid. Time will tell. Vivi attended to all the little defects and adjustments quickly and without any resistance. Her goal was to ensure that we were happy with our home and their work. I believe most customers are willing to pay if they get what they pay for, and I am happy to say that with Spacious Planners and Vivi, I do not suffer from buyer's remorse. I recommend them wholeheartedly. The culture of the firm and their attitude towards clients are first-rate.

I engaged Eunice from Spacious Planner as she was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to go with Spacious Planner due to the reasonable quotation. It's not the cheapest in the market, but you wouldn't want something cheap and of poor quality. The quality of work is decent, but what I loved best is Eunice's professionalism. Every single defect I found, she immediately arranged for her team to fix it. Throughout the design and planning phase, she also tries to understand what I like and what I envisage. She's also meticulous, and she will help point out any considerations that I miss. She's also very adaptive to my changes (which happens a lot).
