Went to Serta IMM on June 10 and was served by an auntie who was unfriendly, arrogant, and rude. Although the mattress was ok, we immediately decided not to purchase anything from the store.

Absolutely will not recommend the brand to anyone. Shopping amongst many mattress brands in IMM, Serta seemed to have the competitive edge. However, it was only after purchasing a bed that I've come to realize it is a low-end brand with a high price markup. I purchased a mid-firm bed, SandPoint, that gave me back pain. Oddly, the bed is advertised as an orthopaedic bed. It was so hard on my back. I contacted the shop to inquire about any solutions they could offer. They offered me the option to purchase another bed... It didn't even make sense when I could use the same amount to purchase a new bed elsewhere, do a 100-day trial period, and return if I was not satisfied. This included being able to try the bed first at a physical store. Unsatisfied with the solution that was offered over the phone, I emailed them to get a written confirmation they couldn't offer a solution. They have not responded after 4 working days. Almost a week, including the weekends. Every single day without a response to my email is another day my back gets worse. Which, in turn, makes me frustrated and grumpier. I've come to realize everything has been over the phone and conversational, leaving no evidence. Imagine yourself running into issues with your purchase from Serta! I wouldn't trust the brand to care about their customers, much less uphold their "warranty" at this rate... I desperately hope to get a refund and end my suffering with this bed. I wish I had chosen a brand that understands the importance of a good night's sleep.

Be aware that their exchange/return policy is not what is advertised on serta.com. I only became aware of that after my mattress was shipped. It was not advertised to me at all beforehand.

Honest, approachable, and knowledgeable staff! I walked around the entire IMM looking at mattresses, and I must say that he was the most genuine among the rest. He was also able to strike a good deal. Thanks so much for the good service and help rendered! Regarding the bed quality, I felt that it is comparable to the rest (and even better), and more pocket-friendly too!

This review is based on my personal opinion and experience with Serta at the IMM store. Please note that this review is for your information, discretion, and assessment. I visited Serta at the IMM store three times before finally closing the deal. During all three visits, I was served by Mr. Steven. My experience and observations with Mr. Steven are as follows: 1) Very friendly 2) Excellent product knowledge 3) Very patient 4) Honest 5) Positive attitude 6) Straight to the point 7) Very helpful (Mr. Steven, if you are reading this, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your service.) My reasons for choosing Serta are as follows: 1) Serta offered the best price compared to competitors with a similar range of products. 2) Serta offered the best promotional package compared to other brands, such as a free bed frame, free pillows, and a free mattress protector cover. Other brands required me to top up an additional sum for the bed frame. 3) Serta's range of mattresses comes with foam encasement. Foam encasement protects the edges of the mattress and deters the coil springs at the edges from deformation and slouching. This was a key factor that led me to purchase a Serta mattress because I like to sit on the mattress edges to do my readings. Another brand offering foam encasement only does so in selected models and at premium prices. Buying a mattress is very personal, and every individual has their own views. I recommend potential mattress buyers to personally try out the mattresses at the showroom and take some time to consider before making a purchase. Preferences for each individual are different, such as firm, medium-firm, or soft mattresses. Ultimately, this investment will last you for several years.

Given the amount of competition here in IMM, the service is lovely. I was helped by the supervisor, and he is definitely a straight shooter. The shop is located next to Best Denki, on the 3rd floor. Ask for their best seller and their best comfort unit.
